Warranty Policy
At About Dreams, we are committed to providing carefully selected, handcrafted, vintage, and upcycled products of the highest quality.
This Warranty Policy explains your rights regarding defective or non-conforming products.
1. Legal Warranty
If you are purchasing as a consumer, you benefit from the legal warranties provided under applicable French consumer law.
These legal rights apply in addition to any commercial policy offered by About Dreams and cannot be excluded or limited.
2. Legal Guarantee of Conformity
If a product is defective, does not match its description, or is not fit for its intended purpose at the time of delivery, you may be entitled to the legal guarantee of conformity provided under French consumer law.
Where applicable, you may request:
* Repair of the product;
* Replacement of the product;
* A price reduction; or
* A refund, subject to the conditions provided by applicable law.
3. Warranty Against Hidden Defects
Consumers may also benefit from the legal warranty against hidden defects where applicable under French law.
A hidden defect is a defect that:
* existed before the sale;
* was not apparent at the time of purchase; and
* makes the product unfit for its intended use or significantly reduces its value.
Where the legal conditions are met, customers may request cancellation of the sale or a partial refund.
4. Vintage & Upcycled Products
Many About Dreams products are vintage, upcycled, handmade, or produced in limited quantities.
Because of their nature, products may display:
* natural signs of age;
* unique textures;
* repaired areas;
* fading;
* slight color variations;
* fabric irregularities;
* small imperfections.
These characteristics are part of the design and authenticity of the product and do not constitute defects.
Customers are encouraged to carefully review product descriptions and photographs before placing an order.
5. Exclusions
This Warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
* normal wear and tear;
* improper use;
* misuse;
* accidents;
* improper washing or care;
* modifications or repairs carried out by third parties;
* failure to follow care instructions.
6. Making a Warranty Claim
If you believe your product is covered by a legal warranty, please contact us as soon as possible at:

Please include:
* Your order number;
* A description of the issue;
* Clear photographs showing the product and the defect.
Additional information may be requested to assess your claim.
7. Assessment of Claims
Each warranty claim is reviewed individually.
If your claim is accepted, About Dreams may, depending on the circumstances and applicable law:
* Repair the product;
* Replace the product;
* Offer a partial refund;
* Issue a full refund.
Where legally permitted, About Dreams reserves the right to determine the most appropriate remedy.
8. Limitation
This Warranty applies only to manufacturing defects or legal defects covered by applicable consumer protection laws.
It does not affect any mandatory statutory rights granted to consumers under applicable legislation.
9. International Customers
Customers purchasing outside France may benefit from mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in their country of residence.
Nothing in this Warranty Policy limits or excludes any rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
Right of Withdrawal EU
If you are purchasing as a consumer within the European Union, you benefit from a legal 14-day right of withdrawal in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
This Policy explains how you may exercise this right when purchasing products from aboutdreams.fr.
1. Your Right to Withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), takes physical possession of the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify About Dreams of your decision by sending a clear statement by email.
2. How to Exercise Your Right
To exercise your right of withdrawal, please provide:
* Your full name
* Your order number
* The products you wish to return
* A clear statement indicating your decision to withdraw from the purchase
You may use any clear written communication.
3. Returning the Products
Once you have informed us of your decision to withdraw, you must return the products within 14 days.
Products must be:
* unworn;
* unused;
* unwashed;
* in their original condition;
* returned with all original tags attached;
* returned in their original packaging whenever reasonably possible.
You are responsible for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the products.
4. Return Shipping Costs
Unless otherwise agreed or required by applicable law, customers are responsible for the direct cost of returning the products.
We recommend using a tracked shipping service.
5. Refunds
Once the returned products have been received or you have provided proof that they have been shipped back, About Dreams will process your refund within 14 days.
Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase unless otherwise agreed.
Where required by law, the original standard delivery costs paid by the customer will also be refunded.
Additional delivery charges resulting from premium or express shipping selected by the customer are not refundable.
6. Exceptions
The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that are exempt under applicable consumer protection laws, including but not limited to:
* Products made to the customer’s specifications;
* Personalized products;
* Products clearly customized for an individual customer;
* Gift cards (where applicable);
* Any other products excluded by mandatory law.
7. Vintage & Upcycled Products
Many About Dreams products are vintage, handmade, upcycled, or produced in limited quantities.
Natural signs of age, unique textures, repaired areas, slight color variations, fading, or other characteristics described on the product page do not constitute defects and do not affect your legal right of withdrawal.
8. International Customers
This Right of Withdrawal applies to consumers who benefit from mandatory withdrawal rights under applicable law, including customers located within the European Union.
Customers residing outside the European Union may not benefit from the same statutory withdrawal rights, unless required by the laws applicable in their country of residence.
