Return & Refund Policy

At About Dreams, every piece is carefully selected, designed, or handcrafted with great attention to detail. We hope you love your purchase. If for any reason you are not fully satisfied, please read our Return & Refund Policy below.

 

1. Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer purchasing from the European Union, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days from the date you receive your order, without providing any reason.

Once your request has been received, we will provide you with return instructions.

 

2. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, products must:

* be returned within 14 days after notifying us of your withdrawal;

* be unworn;

* be unwashed;

* be unused;

* be in their original condition;

* include all original tags;

* be returned in their original packaging whenever possible.

Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused.


3. Vintage & Handmade Products

Many About Dreams products are vintage, upcycled, handmade, or limited edition.

Small signs of age, variations, fading, repaired areas, fabric irregularities, or slight imperfections are considered part of the unique character of these products and are not considered manufacturing defects.

Customers are encouraged to carefully review product descriptions and photographs before placing an order.


4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned unless required by applicable law:

* Custom-made products

* Personalized products

* Products made to the customer’s specifications

* Gift cards

* Digital products (if applicable)


5. Return Shipping Costs

Unless the returned item is defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that returned items arrive safely.

We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service.

About Dreams cannot be held responsible for returns lost during transit.


6. Refunds

Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

If your return is approved, your refund will be processed using the original payment method.

Refunds will be issued within 14 days after receiving the returned goods or receiving proof that the goods have been shipped back, whichever occurs first.

Original standard delivery charges will be refunded where required by applicable law.

Additional shipping costs resulting from express or premium delivery services selected by the customer are non-refundable.


7. Exchanges

Due to the limited nature of many About Dreams products, exchanges cannot always be guaranteed.

If the requested size or item is available, we will gladly assist you with an exchange.

8. Damaged, Incorrect or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please include:

* Your order number

* A description of the issue

* Clear photographs showing the product and packaging

Depending on the situation, we may offer:

* a replacement;

* an exchange;

* a repair;

* a full or partial refund.

Nothing in this Policy limits your rights under the legal guarantees provided by French consumer law.


9. Refused Deliveries & Unclaimed Packages

If an order is refused by the customer or returned because it was not collected, About Dreams may deduct any return shipping costs or customs charges incurred before issuing a refund, where permitted by applicable law.


10. International Orders

Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, or local charges.

These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Customs duties, taxes, or import fees paid to local authorities are non-refundable.


11. Cancellation Before Shipment

Orders may be cancelled before they have been shipped.

Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled and must instead follow the return procedure described in this Policy.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel your order.


12. Fraud Prevention

About Dreams reserves the right to refuse returns or refunds in cases of suspected fraud, abuse of our return policy, or where returned items do not comply with this Policy.


13. Legal Rights

Nothing in this Return & Refund Policy limits or excludes any mandatory rights granted to consumers under applicable law.

Customers residing in the European Union benefit from the protections provided by applicable consumer legislation, including the French Consumer Code where applicable.
